I have done my best to incorporate the comments I have received. I outline changes in the planning from last week below. I have tried to coordinate with Stig-Ove to make the list as accurate as possible so that there will be hopefully little need to change what is done on a given pass (High TM, etc). Craig Kletzing 1) Burst: The changes here are with timing so that all timing is in even minute increments per Stig-Ove's request. The scheme for burst orbits is now: - choose a pass which gets close to oval - set time for Triggered burst enable as late as possible so that we get to highest latitudes (see Per-Arne's email of 28 Apr) - set time for forced trigger 8 minutes later. According to Stig-Ove, 14 minutes before LOS is enough time to do the burst and dump, and this is only other time we need to set. - the timing for burst is as follows: working backwards in time, we allow 2 minutes for the forced burst + 10 minutes to dump + 2 minutes margin which gives forced burst at LOS - 14 minutes. We allow 8 minutes during which burst trigger is enabled to get a start of burst enable at LOS - 22 minutes. Note: all values are rounded to even minutes per Stig-Ove's instructions. - switch trigger source (F1, F2. F4) every 3 days, rather than every day. This eases the operators' job, and to us does not seem to be any worse otherwise. 2. Low-speed Link (LSL) Eliminated for this week pending new info from Sven Grahn and/or Larry. 3. Special Modes Per Nick Lloyd's request, the modes CIH, FAC, Wake, and IA now repeat on exactly 13 orbit periods.
