Last Hello till December from the US,
	Please be aware of the special AGU session Friday, May 28.  It appears to
be an all day session with 18 papers submitted.  I am also considering a Low Speed
Link demo.  I am organizing a "Freja team" dinner that evening at a restaurant in
Little Italy (~$30 per person), about 15min walk from the Convention Center; I
will assume authors, please tell your respective PI if you will attend.  I will 
call
each PI the first week in May for a final attendance number per team.
	Nick Lloyd has put into place the attitude schedule for April and I have
repeated it here for reference, THERE IS NO PLAN THAT I AM AWARE OF
FOR MAY.  I have also repeated the Syowa station info from Miyaoka,
understanding that we are to receive data once per day except weekends.    High
TM mode has been scheduled twice per day over Esrange only , late passages to
get closer to the pole; scheduled is one triggered burst per session, rotating F1, 
F2,
F4, in a PA orbit, attempting to keep this at the latest reasonable local times, 
8min
to auto-trigger, please let me know if this allows enough dump time, about 8-
10min.
	Low Speed Link:  Requested from myself, SSC, and F4 at Cornell I have
scheduled out-of-auroral zone LSL ON times (10min/day) for Tues (US), Wed
(Europe), and Thur (US) 4/27-4/29, orbits 2685, 2698, and 2715 respectively, the
procedure has been to delay instruments ON or early OFF during subauroral zone
times.  This communications link is a very impressive and innovative aspect of
Freja and also transmits stored auroral zone event detection information from F1
and F2.

1) Syowa Station
-----------------
   Please note that Syowa measurements started on 93-3-21.  For those of you who
don't know,  the geographic coordinates of Syowa are latitude =-69.00, longitude =
39.58.

2) Spacecraft Attitude Plans
----------------------------
  Manfred, Per-Arne and friends sat down Wednesday 93-3-17 and worked out a
plan for the Freja attitude over the next month and a bit.  The goal is to have 
one
(small) attitude maneuvre a week and then let the satellite drift.  They have 
tried to
choose a satelliteposition that has a favourable position for field line 
orientation,
not too large a sun-angle and naturally drifts towards the next week's RA and DEC.
Here are their results.  Hopefully FOC can implement or comment on this plan as
soon as possible.  I suggest FOC or anyone else contact Manfred and/or Per-Arne
if they have questions.

Dear Freja science team,

I have created eight new sequences for the ON/OFF switch of
the experiments. Each sequence starts with sending the OFF
commands to make sure we do not empty the batteries in case of
trouble. Each sequence will thus start by asking if to switch
F4 OFF or leave it ON for a whole orbit, ie Survey.2probe conf.

The modes are:

I would also like to point out that I have altered the BURST
triggering sequences so that its possible to select the duration
of the time one waits for the event. This is done by having two
TIMEBASEs    a:  +30sec, The time when the Trigg is enabled.
             b:  Force trigg, wait 90sec then dump.
I would like to have these TIMEBASES relative to AOS or LOS (remeber
LOS can be up to 3 minutes before 0deg El/Radio silence) and in minutes.

run instandard science mode by default.The cancellation order is that the first
